Have you ever spotted a well-loved American Girl doll at a yard sale or thrift store and wondered if she could be given a second chance?
American Girl dolls are known for their quality craftsmanship, timeless designs, and the memories they carry across generations. While many secondhand dolls show signs of years of play and adventure, very few are beyond repair. Because of the way they're constructed, restoring them is both approachable and incredibly rewarding.
Join local collector and restoration enthusiast Clover Neiberg for a two-day, hands-on workshop where you'll learn techniques to clean, repair, and refresh these beloved dolls. Whether you're interested in collecting, upcycling, learning a new skill, or simply enjoying a unique creative project, this workshop offers a welcoming introduction to doll restoration.
Each participant will receive a well-loved American Girl doll along with all the supplies needed to restore it. Clover will guide you step by step through the process, and you'll leave with your restored doll, a restoration guide, and the basic supplies needed to continue caring for it at home.
