Earthen Plaster Workshop

Join us for a weekend, hands-on workshop w/ orientation Friday Evening, March 20th.

Learn how to mix and apply a base coat of earthen plaster to interior walls on top of hempcrete, lath, and drywall. This is an educational fun workshop with lots of hands on practice and experience NOT a work grind. Come get your hands dirty and learn from the best how to finish your walls using almost no cost in materials other than the dirt beneath your feet.

Facilitated by professional earthen plasterer, James Henderson of Gold Hill Clay Plaster, LLC. and hosted by Natalie Anderson of BZ at her jobsite across the street from the Missing Corner (5 BZ Glenwood Hwy)

Special Guest James Henderson: James Henderson’s passion for earth building inspired him to enter the building trade to learn the game. Twenty four years on James has worked as a professional earth builder and plasterer in both the United States and Australia. Focusing on earth and straw buildings James has refined the craft of earth based rendering.

*Basic camping, refrigeration, and showers are onsite. No food will be provided, but there is a food truck next door and a gas station across the street.

This is a Weekend Workshop w/ Orientation on Friday Evening (2.25 days total):
